The 477 bed general hospital is nationally renowned for its keen medical services, high patient satisfaction ratings and leading medical teams of physicians, nurses and technicians. 
   Carmel Medical Center receives 82,000 ER visits annually, while admitting 32,000 patients for a combined total of 150,000 hospitalization days. More than 20,000 surgical procedures are performed annually throughout 13 operating rooms, including 3 OR's in the newly renovated Day Hospital. Ambulatory yearly visits to the Carmel outpatient clinics equal another 126,000.
